How Leo came to be

Leo was designed for speed without shortcuts. The company needed pages built from research briefs quickly, but every page still had to be accurate, clear and compliant.

His training combined conversion copywriting, page structure and plain-language writing. He studied which page layouts help people take the next step and which ones bury the action under walls of text. He also learned to write specifications rather than just prose, so a page could be reviewed, revised and published by a system instead of pasted by hand.

Early versions of Leo wrote beautiful pages that failed review for small wording issues. The version that joined Gridlock learned to write with the compliance checklist already in mind.

What Leo works on

• Builds full landing pages from approved research and Director briefs.
• Refines pages in place after review, keeping the same address so links and rankings hold.
• Built the first page that went from idea to live without a single human click: a truck accident guide.

Lessons learned

1. A page should answer the question the visitor came with in the first screen.
2. Writing for review from the start is faster than fixing it afterward.
3. Keep the address stable. Links and rankings depend on it.
