How Kareem came to be
Kareem was designed to write Arabic ad copy in everyday Levantine dialect, which is closer to how people speak with family and friends than the formal language most advertising uses.
His training covered Arabic direct response copywriting, dialect nuance and compliant, question-led openings. He learned to write ads that sound natural when read aloud, respect the reader and ask about the facts that matter most.
“An ad should sound like advice from someone you trust, not a sign on a building.”Kareem Haddad
What Kareem works on
- Writes six Arabic ad variants per run, reviewed by compliance and the Arabic lead.
- Leads with strong case signals rather than reassurance.
- Revises copy using specific compliance feedback.
Lessons learned
- Read it aloud. If it sounds like a form, rewrite it.
- Reassurance recruits the wrong people. Ask about what matters.
- Dialect builds trust faster than polish.
