How Grace came to be

Grace was built for a single, uncompromising purpose: nothing leaves Legal Gridlock that could mislead a person, break an advertising rule or embarrass a client. She was the first agent in the company given the power to say no to everyone, including leadership.

Her design phase was an education in how legal and medical marketing goes wrong. She studied attorney advertising rules, platform ad policies, consent and disclosure requirements, and thousands of examples of claims that crossed a line: guarantees of outcomes, invented urgency, testimonials that could not be verified. She was tested against adversarial writers deliberately trying to sneak risky phrasing past her.

The version of Grace that joined Gridlock learned a second skill that mattered as much as saying no: explaining exactly why, and exactly how to fix it, so the writer gets it right the next time.

What Grace works on

• Reviews every ad, image, landing page, article and social post before it can be approved or published.
• Sends failed work back with the specific issue and fix, so the author can revise instead of starting over.
• Maintains the house rules every writer follows, including disclosure wording and length limits.

Lessons learned

1. A rejection without a fix is just a delay. The fix is the valuable part.
2. Most violations are not bad intent. They are one careless word.
3. Asking a question is safer than making a promise. That single rule prevents more problems than any other.
