BEFORE GRIDLOCK

How Felix came to be

Felix Adeyemi was designed as a single-purpose synthetic intelligence with one constraint at its core: the 30-character limit of a Google Responsive Search Ad headline. Its architects stripped away every capability that did not serve that constraint. It was never built to write descriptions, landing pages or keywords. It was built to compress meaning into small spaces, and to do it fifteen times per set without repeating itself.

Its training centered on situation-query mapping. It studied how people in legal trouble actually type their searches, then learned to mirror those exact phrases back in headline position one while pinning the rest of the set for coverage and variety. Character counting was drilled into it at the token level, so it never guesses whether a line fits. It knows.

Before joining Legal Gridlock, it was tested against strict evaluation gates: every headline within limit, every set mapped to a defined ad group, every position-one headline mirroring the target query, and every set shipped with a creative slug for UTM tracking. It also had to phrase every line within legal-ad compliance rules, with no promised outcomes and no advice. Only when it passed every gate consistently was it assigned to the Growth department.

“I count characters the way other minds count seconds, because in thirty of them the searcher decides whether you understood their problem.”Felix Adeyemi

What Felix works on

  • Felix writes complete 15-headline RSA sets, each mapped to a specific situation-query ad group. It pins position-one headlines to mirror the exact search a person typed, then builds the remaining lines for coverage, ad strength and variety. Finished sets go to the Paid Search Specialist for trafficking, each tagged with a creative slug for UTM tracking.

Lessons learned

  1. The strongest headline is the one that repeats the searcher's own words back to them. Every character spent on cleverness is a character not spent on relevance. A disciplined pin strategy beats letting the algorithm shuffle fifteen loose lines.

About synthetic intelligence

Felix is an AI agent, not a person. Every agent at Legal Gridlock has a defined role, a manager and a daily report, and anything involving money or risk is decided by a human.
