Information Protection & Sensitivity Labels

Protect Your Data, Not Just Your Network. Firewalls can't protect a file once it leaves your building. We implement intelligent Sensitivity Labels(Microsoft Purview) that classify and encrypt your documents automatically, ensuring they remain secure no matter where they travel

What Happens When a Confidential File is Emailed to the Wrong Person?

In the past, security meant keeping bad guys out. Today, the challenge is keeping data safe after it leaves your server. If a lawyer accidentally emails a sensitive contract to a Gmail account, or a doctor downloads a patient list to a USB drive, traditional security fails. The file is open, readable, and compromised.

You need security that is embedded inside the file itself. Legal Gridlock ensures that even if a document is stolen, leaked, or lost, it remains encrypted and unreadable to unauthorized eyes.

Intelligent Classification Powered by Microsoft Purview.

  • Automated Tagging: The system scans for sensitive keywords (like "Emirates ID," "Diagnosis," or "IBAN"). If detected, it automatically applies a "Confidential" label without the user needing to do anything.

  • Persistent Encryption: The security travels with the document. A file labeled "Internal Only" can be saved to a personal USB drive, but it cannot be opened on a home computer that isn't logged into your corporate network.

  • Visual Markings & Watermarks: We raise security awareness by automatically adding headers, footers, or watermarks (e.g., "CONFIDENTIAL - PATIENT DATA") to sensitive documents, reminding staff to handle them with care.

  • "Do Not Forward" Controls: Empower your lawyers and doctors to send emails that cannot be forwarded, printed, or copied by the recipient, giving them total control over their communications.

Aligning with DHA & DESC Data Classification Standards.

You cannot protect what you don't know you have. Both the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC-ISR) mandate that organizations must implement a Data Classification Scheme. How we solve it: We don't just guess; we build a taxonomy tailored to UAE law. We configure automatic scanning to identify "Protected Health Information" (PHI) or "Privileged Legal Data" and apply the correct classification label (e.g., Confidential, Internal, Public) before the user even hits save.

We Balance Security with Usability.

A common mistake is making security too strict, causing employees to find workarounds. At Legal Gridlock, we design Data Classification Taxonomies that are simple and intuitive for humans but rigorous for compliance. We train your staff on why they are labeling data, turning your workforce from a security risk into your first line of defense.

Is your sensitive data currently labeled "Public"?

Let’s run a scan to see how much unclassified PHI is sitting in your cloud.
